Creating and maintaining an ethical working environment requires a commitment from our vendors to strive for the same principles so that we achieve a common goal. Hence, we have developed a code of standards which states what we expect from our sub-contractors, suppliers, consultants and partners and what they can expect from us.
Vendor Code of Standards
The parties acknowledge that Power Group and its affiliated and associated companies have committed themselves publicly to uphold the utmost standards of ethical behaviour. As such, Power Group undertakes in good faith to act with the highest levels of integrity, transparency and honesty in exercising its rights and undertaking its obligations in respect of all contracts.
By its signature to the Supplier/ Sub Contract Agreement, the vendor acknowledges that Power Construction (Pty) Limited has selected it and entered into this Supplier/ Sub contract Agreement on the understanding that the vendor, likewise, subscribes to these standards of conduct in commercial transactions and undertakes to act ethically and professionally in all respects in its execution of the Agreement.
Without limiting the generality of the aforegoing and without prejudice to any other common law or contractual rights that Power Construction (Pty) Limited may have on account of any breach of the provisions in this contract by the vendor, the vendor agrees and acknowledges that any conduct which constitutes any form of bribery or corruption will entitle Power Construction (Pty) Limited to summarily cancel the Agreement.
